About Maddax

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am an offensively minded player that uses my speed, size and strength to get into dangerous positions to score or create chances for my teammates. I prefer to play as a striker but can play the wing on either side of the field. I am able to pass with high accuracy and consistently make dangerous crosses into the box in the final third. I can score with either foot and am good in the air.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Of the field I am mostly quiet and introverted but on the field I try to communicate and encourage my teammates. I am a team first player that tries to get better every time I step on the field. Soccer is my favorite sport and I feel happiest when I am playing it, whether it's training or a game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved with the youth group at my church and I volunteer regularly at a community food bank.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I volunteer every summer at Opportunity Camp, a free summer camp for children in foster care, group homes, low income or at risk families. This June will be my fourth year working as a counselor with boys cabin #9. There is a 9th grader at my church that I tutor in math every Wednesday after school and before I go to soccer training.

What type of college are you looking for?

Since I have grown up in California, I would like to stay on the West Coast for college. My mother's family all live up in Oregon so I am interested in schools up that way. I am interested in studying Kinesiology or Physical Therapy in college.
