About Maggie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Technical, creative, and possession-oriented midfielder/winger with strong vision, quick decision-making, and composure on the ball. I enjoy creating attacking opportunities through combination play, intelligent movement, and taking on defenders when the opportunity presents itself. I strive to help my team maintain possession, link play, and make an impact from both midfield and wide areas.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a competitive mindset and enjoy being challenged by both training and games. I'm focused, coachable, and always striving to improve. I enjoy playing in different positions and adapting to what each game requires. I work hard, stay positive, and take pride in making an impact while helping my team succeed.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I volunteer at Lamorinda Soccer Club youth clinics, where I enjoy helping younger players build their skills and confidence. I also participate in Running for a Better Oakland, an organization that encourages K–12 students to develop a love of running and healthy living. In addition, I recently earned my U.S. Soccer Grassroots Referee License, which has given me a better understanding of the game.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through soccer, refereeing, volunteering, and community service, I have developed leadership, teamwork, communication, and resilience. I've learned to stay positive, adapt to challenges, and lead by example. These experiences have also helped me become more confident, responsible, and always willing to keep learning and improving.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of my biggest challenges has been balancing school, competitive soccer, refereeing, and other activities while continuing to improve as a player. I've also had to adapt to playing different positions, which has helped me become more versatile and better understand the game. These experiences have taught me to manage my time, stay focused, and see challenges as opportunities to learn and grow.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm still early in my college search and am keeping an open mind. I'm looking for a school with strong academics, a competitive soccer program, and a positive team culture where I can continue to grow as both a student and an athlete.
