Committed to Oregon and also on the Samoan Women’s National Team Leonard brings elite athleticism and dribbling ability to Santa Clarita this season. She glides with the ball when it’s at her feet and has the ability to pick out a pass while she’s dribbling at high speeds that you don’t see very often at her age. I can definitely see a rise for Leonard if she performs in the USLW this season.

The LAFC and Samoan National Team defender is headed to Oregon in 2027. Leonard is an excellent player who will thrive in Coach Joyner’s system. The Ducks have had a subpar year at 2-6-2 but I believe that is the exception not the rule. This is a great fit.
