She’s a player with quickness and a burst of speed. Malia is one of the Cougars’ top players, as she scored 22 goals and contributed 13 assists throughout her high school career. I’ve evaluated her at the ECNL level, and she’s definitely a certified goal scorer. Her ability to get win-backs and apply pressure up top makes her a dangerous player on both ends. One of the things that stood out was also her fitness, as she seemed to have a motor pushing her to all areas of the pitch. She’s a high-energy player who leads by example.
