About Marina

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m agile, brave and have strong hands; great aerial capabilities & proven ability to make big, game-defining saves. Coaches like my distribution skills & strong feet. I can adapt to the style of my play that my coach/team plays - whether direct/long ball or possession/playing from the back.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a competitive & natural leader. I am always looking for feedback to improve. My teammates & coaches love my dynamic and positive energy & great communication skills. I am loud and have a commanding presence on the field.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was heavily involved in my local church parish as a volunteer for most of my life as well as participating in a cultural folklore dance group for 10 years.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

My church participation has reinforced my strong sense of community & service. My part-time work - interpersonal & customer service skills. Playing soccer at club & school my whole life has helped me develop leadership, teamwork and prioritization skills.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My family and faith have helped me persevere through challenges in my life.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to attend a school with a strong academic reputation as well as a competitive soccer program. I’m looking for a home & program with a great team and coaching culture.
