Higgins is another top goalkeeper in this class. She reminds me quite a bit of Evan O’Steen – multisport athlete, ridiculously athletic, and, shockingly, can play on the field as well at the highest level of the club game.

With the emphasis on goalkeepers to be contributors with the ball at their feet, Higgins’ comfort on the ball is a huge asset. It’s not the only strong part of her game. She might be able to fly. There are very few youth players with her diving ability. She backs it up with strength. She keeps shots out of her net that would score on any other goalkeeper in this class.

In terms of potential, Higgins is in a tier by herself for her position. As she continues to put together consistent performances, there is every reason to believe she could end up as the top goalkeeper in this class.
