About Marquise

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a very solid and confident keeper between the posts and I communicate well with my defenders to hold their lines and I’m a sweeper keeper.Im shy to rush off my line to either close out an attacker or claim a cross. With only one goal conceded in their first 3 games, which came against a penalty, and I’m ranked 6th best in the state

I’m a very happy person on and off the field and very responsible and respectful towards my peers

I’ve got A and B honor roll all 3 years in highschool

Good communication and help in my community giving out to the poor.

Every single Gainesville match I’ve watched the opponents have a hard time finding a way past Marquise. A demoralizing keeper to go up against, the Red Elephants keeper can make some superb stops. One thing about Marquise is he doesn’t have a weak area when it comes to making saves. Lots of keeper either struggle with high striker, low driven shots, or one-on-one breakaway situations. Marquise looks sound no matter the shot or situation, making diving stops to his left and right high or low, and does a fantastic job at closing space on attackers when they are on breakaways. A confident Junior keeper who should look even more polished come his senior campaign.
