About Maryn
Expert Analysis
Robert Almasin | Prep Soccer Scout
Maryn is a key part of the defensive side of both her ECNL and high school teams. She can make clean tackles and make counterattacks from the backline. I’ve previously evaluated her at the 2025 National playoffs and she did not disappoint. They took on and defeated the top 3 ranked team in the bracket. Maryn is ranked #1 in AZ and #1 in Position and #155 in the Nation as a defender. She was also great at making transitional runs to boost the offense. Maryn was called to the U15 USYNT earlier in October for Camp in Portland, OR. She is definitely a key piece on defense end and it will be great to see her compete in upcoming ECNL tourneys as well as get more opportunities as a USYNT call-up.

Excellent passing, long ball’s, and vision. She was rock solid in the back and made runs to the attacking third to get the offense going. Her high soccer IQ and quality passes and ball control and push her to play in the midfield. She should definitely get a ranking on the National level as her team is scheduled to compete in high level tournaments.

Pratt is a defender on the Utah Royals FC-AZ 09 ECNL team. She is also part of the US Women’s Youth National Team. She was an ECNL All-American for the 2023-2024 season. She is easily the most decorated player in this class. She plays right center back for her club side. She’s athletic, smart, and competitive. Given the elite level of athleticism, there is versatility to her game as she could slot into an outside back role. Given the top-tier soccer smarts, she can play in the midfield as well. Pratt is confident on the ball, shows excellent technique in her passing, and reads the game well. She has all the tools to be a top player at the international level.

Pratt, the US Youth National Team player, was outstanding for Utah Royals FC-AZ. She played in the center of the defense and had a number of highlight worthy plays in the win over FL Premier FC. It might seem inconsequential, but Pratt’s ability to strike the ball out of the air stood out compared to her peers. When the ball was at the height that many players would’ve been probably using their shinguards to trap the ball, Pratt was volleying the ball out of danger. There is a high level of skill required to confidently do that in a game, and she clearly has that. Her slide tackle in the second half against FL Premier was picture perfect. She’s a big time prospect from Arizona.
