Maya roams the midfield looking to make plays at every opportunity. She can push up to the attack and be a menace to opposing defenses or easily transition back to assist her own defense for counter attacks. She is all over the field in a blink of an eye. Atkinson has a forceful shot and prides herself on calculated placement. This Timberline HS junior makes waves on the pitch, scoring and assisting her teammates at will. During club season, she represents Idaho’s, Boise Thorns FC ECNL where she shows off her talents in showcases all across the country. Maya is an aggressive and physical player who can control a 50/50 situation with ease. Rarely is she bodied off possession. Another talented athlete from the PNW who has tremendous upside and will fit nicely in the starting 11 for a college program.
