The Utah Avalanche Midfielder is staying in state going to Utah Valley in 2027. The Wolverines are an up and coming program that currently sit a 6-4-1 and are a real sleeper to make some noise in the NCAA Tournament. Cavazos was an All-State selection at Olympus High School. Good fit.

Cavazos is a right-footed midfielder on the Utah Avalanche 08 ECNL team. She was also a key player on the state champion Olympus High School team. She earned 5A First Team All-State honors for her play as a defensive midfielder for that team. She played for Wasatch GA last season and was named to the Girls Academy Mountain West Talent ID in 2024.
Cavazos was also selected to participate in the ECNL National Selection Game for the event in Arizona in the Spring. She is the type of player who doesn’t appear in a ton of highlights, but the game film show her brilliance. A hard-working midfielder with the aptitude to outsmart the opposition. There is a reason she has been selected as one of the best players on every team she has played on in the last two seasons. She’s got the soccer smarts to star at the next level.
