About Mia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Technical, elite passing and movement/positioning for attacks, defensively aware making strong tackles, high soccer IQ, team player

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Mental toughness on the field, team player, positive teammate on and off field

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Participate in key club, best buddies, and unified sports

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've developed leadership and teamwork skills playing club soccer and softball; learning to bring my teammates together through positivity and shared goals. Being a softball pitcher from a young age allowed me to develop composure in high stress situations. Working with the special needs community is teaching me communication skills but more importantly not taking small things too seriously.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My grandfather passed away this past spring during my first high school soccer season, and he was always an avid sports fan wanting updates about my games and travel.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm still exploring majors with an interest in health science. I'm interested in colleges in the Midwest region though open to opportunities that will provide the right academic and athletic fit.
