She started the match in her original left back position and had a strong two-way performance. Valentine was very intelligent with her movement on the left side of Sting’s attack, exploring the space extremely well and finding excellent passes in the final third. Still during the first half, she had to move to the right because of an injury to a teammate and continued to perform at a high level, having no issues passing and dribbling using her weaker right foot.
