About Morgan

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

My biggest strength is my ability to create and progress the attack from midfield. I use my vision to find space and see opportunities, and my technical ability and composure help me execute in tight spaces or under pressure. Whether breaking a line, combining with teammates, taking a player on, or finding the final pass, I’m always looking to move us forward and create something dangerous.

What are you working to improve right now?

I’m currently focused on strength training and injury prevention, while continuing to build more left foot power.

What are you looking for in a college program?

I’m looking for a great overall college experience—a school that fits my educational goals, isn’t too big or too small, and has a strong sense of community. For soccer, I want a competitive program with a great team culture where players work hard, compete at a high level, and still have fun together.

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

Outside of soccer, I enjoy being involved in my school and exploring my interests in health sciences, marketing, graphic design, and videography. I participate in DECA, where I placed 4th at Districts. I was one of two students selected as a 2026-27 Student Ambassador, taking on leadership projects in my school and community. I’m also a certified USSF referee, and member of Bronco Smart.

What do you want to study, and what career interests you?

I’m still exploring what I want to study, with interests in health sciences, marketing, and graphic design. I’ve taken advanced biomedical science courses while considering careers in physical therapy or nursing, while also exploring marketing, broadcasting, and graphic design through my coursework.

Callender is a midfielder on the Union KC 2010 Girls Academy. She can also play as forward. She’s excellent playmaker. She’s an attacking midfielder in her style. She’s got good vision and excellent passing range. She displays a lot of patience in her play. She waits for passing lanes to open and she’s calm on the ball to keep control of the pace of the game. Callender’s strength might be overlooked, but she rarely loses a duel and every game it seems like there is a defender who just bounces off of her. Callender has been identified as part of the Missouri ODP team and highlighted as a top talent in the state for some time. She’s continued to impress this season and looks to be among the best midfielders in the state.
