He plays high school soccer for Strake Jesuit, where he’s one of the captains, and club for RISE SC , as part of their U19 team in the ECNL League. He’s a very efficient shot-stopper, who’s very explosive when going for the ball and who thrives with his positioning between the posts. Macouzet also does well in set pieces, showing great intelligence to navigate the penalty box and get to the ball. He’s very accurate with his punts and is a vocal leader who keeps the backline organized and engaged with his constant communication.

The goalkeeper had a solid shift with the Crusaders and prevented that they went into the halftime break losing by more than a goal as he made some nice saves in the first half. Macouzet wasn’t to blame in either of Elkins’ goals and in both of them, he had opposing attackers coming at him. The goalkeeper was also very vocal and kept sharing instructions with his teammates the entire time. Another positive aspect of his game was the accuracy of his punts, which often found teammates in the attacking half.
