Expert Analysis
Robert Almasin | Prep Soccer Scout
One of Prep Soccer’s lead scouts ranked her as the top-rated attacking talent in the class of 2029. She has thus kept her #1 ranking and looks to be heading back to her dominating form from last season. As a multi-sport athlete, she has the speed to burn past defenders as she competes as a sprinter in the 60- and 100-meter dash. Olivia’s punishing style of play can be attributed to strong vertical leaps and playing strong off the ball. Her ability to shake off defenders on her hip shows her impressive strength and power. She’s a player who should get looks from youth national teams sooner rather than later.

Hindson is the top ranked attacking talent in this class. The Eclipse 2010 standout was named to the ECNL Midwest First Team All-Conference selection. She was dominant last season at the club level, and should be in for an even bigger 2025/2026 campaign.
Hindson is a multi-sport athlete and shines on the track as well. She qualified for nationals in indoor and outdoor track events. She’s a sprinter with qualifying times in the 60 meters and 100 meters.
The speed shows up on game film. The way she gets from a stop to a full speed in a blink of an eye almost feels violent. The raw strength as a running is impressive.
Even though she has that vertical threat speed, she isn’t only reliant on that part of her game. She punishes the defense with her vision and passing too. There is some quality to her game that feels like an attacking midfielder with athletic qualities of a No. 9. It’s a rare player profile, which makes her such an exciting talent.

Hindson appeared for the Eclipse Select team that had one win, one tie and one loss in the showcase. She was consistently dangerous on Sunday, when her team lost to Sting Black in a fun 3-2 match. Extremely athletic, she had different roles with the team during the match, spending some time more centrally and also appearing out wide. Hindson was very active in the center, combining well with her teammates and displaying a great ability to operate in tight spaces. She was also dangerous when getting the ball on the wings as she made direct, strong diagonal runs that were very difficult to stop.
