Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I have a strong knowledge of the game and a solid IQ. I’m calm on the ball, quick, & confident.
My adaptability allows me to transition between defensive roles, adjust marking schemes, and anticipate opponents movements. This skill enables me to thrive in different styles of play, and move between different formations.
I’m versatile and can play any role on the backline (or winger, if needed)
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I consider myself a leader on and off the field. I strive for excellence and to always do the right thing. I lead with positivity and kindness. I have been through a lot—but those experiences have made me both stronger and more confident, and have taught me that I have the strength to accomplish anything I set my mind to if I work hard and keep fighting. I put 110 % effort into all that I do.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am involved in multiple clubs, including journalism. I also volunteer my time multiple times per week as a youth sports coach for a U6/U7 soccer coach for an underprivileged soccer team in Tacoma as well as at a food bank at a nearby church.
Recently, I won a Presidential Award for my high GPA, as well as two excellence awards (teacher/counselor nominated) for my achievements at school.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
As a team captain, I learned how to use my voice to help guide and inspire my teammates during both times of defeat and during times of success. It has been a deeply rewarding experience and I have been honored to be trusted in that role.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Not only have I lost a little brother to a genetic disorder, but I am the survivor of very significant parental abuse to the point of having to share my story to hold my abuser accountable and seek protection for myself and my sister. It’s been very hard—and terrifying at times—but I have found the courage to speak my truths. It’s been very difficult, but taught me so much about speaking up!
What type of college are you looking for?
One that values its students and an athletic program that values its players and treats them like humans and not just numbers. I want a school that wants me—and sees me as an important part of their future. I also want a good academic program that aligns with what I hope to learn and focus my future on.
