About Olivia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play a hard, aggressive style and compete for every ball, especially in the box. I take pride in winning challenges, clearing danger when needed, and also delivering accurate passes to help build the attack. I see the field well and make quick decisions, which allows me to create opportunities for my teammates. I’m also confident on free kicks and look to generate assists and scoring chances.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a team-first mentality and will do whatever is needed to help the team succeed, whether that’s playing out of position, supporting teammates, or stepping up in big moments. I stay calm and composed on the field, which helps keep others focused and confident. I bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and am someone my teammates can rely on both on and off the field.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was recently inducted into National Honor Society and am actively involved in my school’s spirit squad. I have also earned Honor Roll every year of high school, demonstrating my commitment to both academics and school involvement.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through soccer, I’ve developed leadership, resilience, and strong teamwork skills. I lead by example with my work rate, communicate effectively on the field, and stay composed in high-pressure situations. I take pride in being someone my teammates can rely on and in always putting the team first.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced was being moved down two levels in club. It was tough, but I used it as motivation to improve. I talked with my coaches, focused on my weaknesses, and worked hard to develop my game. I was able to earn my way back, and it taught me to stay coachable, never get comfortable, and always keep improving.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college where I can fit into the team’s style of play while still being challenged every day to grow as a player. I play a physical, aggressive game and value a program that embraces that while helping me continue to develop. I also want a competitive environment with strong team culture, where players push each other and work together toward success.
