About Olivia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is based on the team/players I am with. I am vocal on an extreme level and take fundamentals to much importance. I am always improving distribution. My biggest strength is my quick reflex saves.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is optimistic, I like to enjoy my high school years while also being focused on the important things. I love being the “Hype Girl” in any environment around me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in Leadership, as well as in the A honor roll. I also am involved in my youth group.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a goalkeeper I feel as though I am the leader in every environment. This position has helped me gain leadership such as being a mentor to younger players, kids at school, as well as in my academics when it comes to working with others.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced many challenges mentally and physically throughout my life, I had struggled in middle school with mental health issues. As far as physically I have dealt with many injuries and gone through tough recovery process. These all were learning opportunities that shaped the person and player I am today.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a competitive college that has a major in psychology around criminal justice. As well as clicking with the team and coaches. Another benefit is what their soccer program could provide outside of the game. Such as nutrition, lifts, and recovery options.

Sanders is a goalkeeper for JB Marine 2010. She’s five-foot-four, athletic, and a winner.

Sanders is on the Watch List as she was a late addition to the scouting list for this class. She’s shown promise from her highlights. She is great at diving saves. She is also a vocal leader for her team.

She could improve on securing the save more often. She is good at parrying shots away and clearing them from danger, but retaining control for her side will elevate her game to the next level. Sanders will be one for scouts to track for the upcoming showcases.
