About Olivia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a right and left winger who plays with pace, creativity, and discipline. I love to create scoring opportunities through crosses and also 1v1's. I track back defensively while also working hard to make off the ball movements to help my team win possession and transition quickly.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a driven and determinate person off and on the field. I am ambitious, coachable and motivated. take pride in working hard especially when no one's looking and my passion for soccer is what makes me extremely disciplined. I hold my self to a high standard and I always am looking for ways that I can improve my game. I enjoy challenges and I push myself to be to grow as a soccer player and as a

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am very involved in my school community and in academics alongside athletics. I serve as Milken's girls varsity soccer captain, representative for Girls soccer in the Athletic Leadership Committee at my school, the spirit coordinator for the 9-10 Division, the secretary of Dec my Room, along with many other clubs. I have won awards in Academic Decathalon, and the National Latin Exam.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through soccer and school, I have developed leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. Playing at a high competitive level has taught me accountability, resilience, and how to work effectively with teammates to achieve shared goals. I have been able to understand how to balance different priorities and how to take responsibility as a leader.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of my biggest challenges has been learning to pursue my soccer goals independently. I was the one who pushed to play and develop in the sport, which required me to be proactive about training, improvement, and opportunities. Because of this, I’ve developed a strong work ethic and self-motivation that pushes me to improve even when no one else is asking me to.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that offers a strong academic program and a competitive soccer environment where I can continue to develop as a player. I value a supportive team culture, dedicated coaching staff, and opportunities to improve both as a student and an athlete. I want to continuously become better and become apart of a community that can foster this growth.
