About Oscar

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Playmaker, creating lots of chances and open spaces. Constant communication. Not afraid to take risks and attack open spaces.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I always think about being a better player everyday but also carrying a winning mentality for the team.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

D.E.C.A club, Latino Forum, FBLA (Future Business Leaders Association, investment Club.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Throughout the season I’ve developed a lot in taking a leadership role for the team and helping out teammates become a better players as well. I’ve assisted in many soccer camps for young athletes to develop. (IQ Soccer Camp). I’ve also helped out in summer programs such as Plymouth Meeting Friends School summer camp.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, after coming back from a broken ankle it was very difficult for me to recover well and play at my best. However I’ve had many support from coaches and teammates who have pushed me and work with me to specifically come back 100% for the season.

What type of college are you looking for?

Looking for a private college where I can study Business, Entrepreneurship or Finance. I want to be able to feel like it’s my second home while I’m there and have as much as support as I can to become as successful as possible.
