About Oscar

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I always like to incorporate all of my teammates through my passing. I can switch the field of play and provide through passes for the forwards and wingers.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to do whatever it takes for the team to win. I like to maximize to the chances for a goal scoring opportunity and also get everybody involved when needed.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

In my highschool, I am involved in PEER, DECA, and track. While i'm not in an organization I like to volunteer whenever and wherever I can.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being named a captain has led me to develop some more leadership skills, particularly in my communication and directions.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Some of the challenges I face playing soccer is always feeling like the underdog. Whether it is coming from a small group 1 highschool, or even not playing at the highest level of youth soccer, there are a few factors against me but i'm willing to push through it and reach my ultimate goal: playing college soccer.

What type of college are you looking for?

Colleges that peak my interest are ones that offer a high education in multiple fields as well as having a strong soccer team.
