Eckert has been a big part of the past two PCL finals won by Wood and will look to keep that streak going with another strong performance on Sunday. While her finishing has been a feature since she burst onto the PCL scene as a rookie, her skill without the ball has been coming more clearly into focus this season as a player opponents specifically game plan for. Whether she is scoring the big goal, setting it up or doing the defensive work she will likely be at the center of much of the action.

Eckert was the hero in last year’s PCL final with a brace in Wood’s 2-1 win over Lansdale Catholic, scoring the equalizer and the overtime winner as a first-year player. She leads the Wood front line again this season as a sophomore and despite attracting more attention does all of the things you want in a forward, clinical finishing, holding the ball, pressing and setting up teammates in tight spaces.
