The Los Altos Forward showed moments of flash and flair. Her dribbling skills are something to see, and the power generated from long-distance shots is quite amazing. I’ve covered Parisa in both ECNL and high school matches. Her consistency at both levels will help her to transition to Division 1 soccer. The Hawaii commit led the Eagles’ attack and had a few shots just miss by inches.

She got the second goal as a teammate made a sweet change of direction play and slipped her a pass just outside the 18, and she went 1v1 with the goalkeeper before sending it to the back post. She can make quick runs on goal and her speed allows her to to make attacks from the channels, while angling in to get a higher percentage shot on goal. Her ability to slip in between defenders and find open pockets are some of her strengths.

She made strong plays on the wing and delivered quick and decisive attacks on goal. Her quick and deliberate ball movements helped get the offense going. Her strengths are in creating space on the wing for overlapping and diagonal runs and finding players in open pockets – She is a Hawaii commit.

Abedi’s stop and start ability is impressive. She is incredibly agile and shifty, showing great quickness and athleticism. She uses her ability to change directions and to go from standstill to moving quickly to beat defenders, free up space and create opportunities. Playing mostly as a No. 11, she is a relentless worker on the outside as she will pressure high, cause mistakes by defenders and then take advantage. She links up very well with the outside back on her side as her combination style of play is really beautiful to watch.
