Guyton is on her way to the Ivy League and Dartmouth in 2027 to continue her academic and athletic career. She has excellent club pedigree playing for the top Girl’s Academy Club on the west coast in Lamorinda. She is great in the air and an excellent finisher that I think will lead the line for this program down the line. At 8-3-4 this season with league play concluding soon Big Green will have to win the Ivy League Tournament to ensure postseason qualification. This looks like a great fit.

Guyton is one of my favorite players to watch in this class. There’s a wonderful combination of creativity, determination, and skill to her game. The forward has been one of the best in the Girls Academy for the past few seasons. She’s been one of the brightest talents on the Lamorinda side. She is not overwhelming in her physical attributes, but the mental aspect of the game makes her stand out. She does not quit on the play. She out hustles the competition. There are countless plays in a game when Guyton influences the play with her effort. The hustle combined with her skill provides her with a ton of scoring opportunities and she finishes those chances. Guyton could end up as one of the best forwards in this class in the future. The drive is there to be the best. 

Guyton’s play off the ball impressed me from the game on Friday. She was an impact player on both sides of the ball. She did well in making diagonal runs to slice through the defense and open up passing lanes for her teammates. She showed great defensive instincts, which resulted in an assist against FC United. She nearly doubled that assist a minute later with a splendid cross. Guyton has high upside with those soccer smarts.
