Nakagawara is a fascinating player to watch and fun player to scout. She has the tools to fit perfectly into the USC style of play, but the question might be where to play her. There is a trend in youth club soccer with center forwards dropping a level in the pressing and letting the attacking midfielder doing the chasing against the center backs. Nakagawara is the ideal player for that system, if USC elects to take a page from the youth game moving forward. She is quick, strong, and efficient in front of goal. She was a menace in the ECNL by being a difficult player to play against. She created her own chances with her effort plays – even against the best teams in the league.
