With the Hornets not having a true striker, Mazzawi was their most advanced player and was tasked with occupying the space inside the penalty box for them. The forward did that with intense and intelligent movement, picking the best ways to hurt the Toros’ backline on and off the ball. Mazzawi made some diagonal runs into the box and, in one of them, he was taken down, showing calm and composure to convert the penalty kick. The forward also did well when he dropped to get on the ball, combining efficiently with his teammates, and when he drifted wide, consistently beating defenders off the dribble.
