Her team won their Division II Section Championship.  Although they lost in the 1st round of the CIF SoCal Division III opening round, they had a successful year as they also came in 2nd in league play.  The Mavericks overall record of 12-7-3 and league record of 4-3-1 is testament that records don’t always reflect on the potential of a team’s overall success.  Looking forward to seeing the Colorado commit and her La Costa Canyon team make another run at a section title and possibly a longer run in the SoCal tournament. Also, hoping to see her her ECNL team get another National Championship (2024) and have her get another USYNT call-up.

Headed to the Colorado Buffaloes in 2027. The Buffs are having a great season sitting at 5-1-0 and Sistek’s commitment will be an additional boost to the program. She is a very solid center back with a Power 4 athletic profile and makes solid decisions on the ball. I think it will take time to adjust to the speed of play at the next level but this fit has the potential to pay real dividends for both parties.

Sistek is a defender on the San Diego Surf 09 ECNL team. She was recently called into the US U16 Women’s Youth National Team for a camp at the start of 2025. Sistek’s play this season has been outstanding. Her decision-making and passing has put her into the conversation among the best defenders in the country. Unfortunately, she recently sustained an injury that will sideline her for the rest of the calendar year. The injuries have unfortunately been too common on the San Diego Surf 09 squad lately. She should be back to kick off 2026 and will still be one of the smartest defenders in this class.
