About Quinn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a shut-down fullback who plays with pace and physicality. I am also very focused the attack. I play winger in HS which gives me that perspective. I specialize in 1v1 defending as well as quick decisions and strong passing to launch counter-attacking opportunities.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm competitive but I shake losses off pretty quickly. I don't take myself too seriously and I try to stay grateful. Bonding with my teammates is important to me - this is a big part of my life and I like to be able to laugh at practice, do activities while on the road, etc.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a class officer and work on the yearbook. I am also a volunteer AYSO referee.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've learned a lot about social media outreach and marketing through my role with class officers, as well as fun side projects like my Etsy store and dog's IG account.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I was relatively small for a while and had surgery in 2023 and was out for 2 months. It took a while to earn my playing time back. I practiced hard, kept my head up, and did extra work for skill and strength/performance. I was able to make an impact again and now couldn't be happier!

What type of college are you looking for?

A strong academic school with a foundation for a career in business is my top priority. I would like to play for as competitive a team as I can, but will ultimately attend where I feel my future is best served. I also love a campus with great school spirit and traditions!
