Mecke appeared in 17th place among the Texas midfielders and took 50th place overall in the Rankings. She stars for Classics Elite G09 in the ECNL League and for La Vernia at the high school level, where she already surpassed 100 goals in just two seasons. Mecke is the main attacking option in her team, using her pace and dribbling to beat opponents and her solid finishing skills to convert chances. She can be used anywhere in the attack, thriving when taking opponents 1v1 on the wings, and also as an attacking midfielder, where she storms past defenders and fires shots from outside the box.

Mecke will be with Classics Elite G09 in their matches against Portland Thorns, FSA FC and East Meadow SC. A talented attacking player, she can be used more centrally, as the team’s main playmaker, or out wide. Mecke is very direct and aggressive on the ball and she uses her dribbling ability to take it forward into the final third, where she can be extremely dangerous with her passing vision and her ability to finish from distance. She is also very effective when playing as a winger, as she’s a force in 1v1 plays and can send accurate crosses into the box.

Mecke will be one of the main offensive weapons of Classics Elite 09 when they face Concorde Fire Premier, Santa Rosa United and Rebels SC in Arizona. An aggressive and creative playmaker, she makes things happen even without much room to operate and is a real threat to opposing backlines with her ability to dribble the ball. The attacking midfielder role where she’s typically placed is probably the best fit for her skill set as it allows her to beat opponents off the dribble and fire shots from outside the box, but she can also help out wide, sending crosses into the penalty box. Mecke is also very good at igniting quick transition plays right after she wins the ball back in her defensive field with her ability to break pressure.
