Riley is a talented and very active attacking midfielder who can also play as a winger. She moves in the final third with a lot of liberty, which allows her to make her team more fluid in attack. Wherever she finds space, she’ll move there to get the ball. Here, she looks to quickly play the ball to get her team forward effectively. She can turn on her axis easily to leave her in a position to progress the ball herself. She is also able to dribble out wide to open the play and open passing lanes to play the ball into. Even her back passes are played with the intention to progress play. If the play is slower, she helps circulate the ball in the final third.
