About Riley

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a very physical player who is not afraid to use my body to win fifty-fifties, balls out of the air, or any tackles I go into. When I am on the field, I work as hard as possible to stay involved and make a difference in the game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very driven and dedicated person. I have always been intelligent and mature for my age, and I have always worked to surpass the average and create my own normal.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am currently a member of both HEAT and premed club as they both relate to my passion for healthcare. This year I also made high honor role for having a 4.0 unweighted gpa, as well as made the head of school list for receiving multiple teacher recommendations regarding my character.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Throughout my soccer career thus far, I have been both the youngest and newest player on my team, and the most experienced player. Both of these experiences presented me with the opportunity to grow as a person, which allowed me to gain skills like leadership and compassion, but also humility, acceptance, and the importance of teamwork and community.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

At a young age I was diagnosed with strabismus that caused me to lose the ability to see in 3d, as well as developed a lazy eye. Despite this, I have worked to overcome these challenges, which allowed me to develop skills in perseverance and the ability to overcome any obstacles that stand in the way of my goals.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a strongly academically driven college. It is necessary for me to be able to push myself academically within the walls of any college or university I attend.
