Rosa is very talented defensive midfielder for Topsail High School. Though she didn’t get a goal contribution in her team’s 8-0 win, she was thorougly impressive. Playing in the heart of her team, she gives necessary balance in midfield. Her positioning is fantastic, being where her teams need her the most given the context of a play. If she needs drop deep to recover the ball or provide support higher up, she’ll be there. Her ball recovery is absurd, with her not winning the ball in a duel being an anomaly. When she’s on the ball, she showcases her technical ability greatly. With shifty feet and pacey, she gets past pressure smoothly. Being ambidextrous just adds to her brilliance as well.
