How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I prefer to work into pockets of space, receive and move the ball, and then find space to support.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I have always loved the game of soccer, the friends I have made playing it, the lessons I have learned so far living it, and look forward to continuing my journey as far as my abilities and desire will take me. I see myself as a player who plays for the team first, and think of myself as being very coachable.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am a Student Athlete Scholars Member, a member of the National Junior Honor Society and have been on the Presidents List/High Honor Roll every quarter since 4th grade when grades began being counted. I also volunteer with my schools After Care Program (where I get to mentor Pre-k through 6th graders) and our school Summer Camp Program (100+ volunteer hours to date).
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Through volunteering and participation in my schools Leadership program, I have learned that there are various ways to lead, and different situations and different people can require different forms of leadership.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I am very fortunate, and I haven't had to face what I would consider a significant challenge. I have had some injury setbacks, but nothing that I would consider significant when looking at challenges others may have.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am a hard worker on the field and in the classroom, as both are equally important to me, and I hope to find the best opportunity to push myself to grow in both areas. I want to be challenged academically while having the opportunity to play the game I love at the highest level possible.
