The Crossfire Academy standout is headed to the juggernaut that is Stanford in 2027. She reminds me a bit of current Cardinal superstar Charlotte Kohler. Koszorus will be arriving on campus right as Kohler is finishing up her last year. She definitely has the potential to slot right in to that position. She’s a regular in youth national team camp and her recent commitment will only help her chances of continuing her successful career.

Saleen is a force in the midfield. The 2024 1st Team All-League midfielder has a smooth touch and release that is difficult to react to. Her ability to play in the middle, move to the left or right and stay consistent throughout is imposing. Koszorus wields a strong leg that is both dangerous on the shot and cross. Saleen is best in the attack but has the skillfulness to dispose of attackers at will. Watch for her sneaky bursts that get her through the midfield quickly and gives her the opportunity to punish the defense however she chooses. The Wolverines and Koszorus are primed for a successful post season.

Effort and execution led Koszorus and XF Academy into the National Finals, and they will be looking to continue their quality form in Richmond. Three shutouts and a slew of goals exhibited the strength of Koszorus and the XF midfield abd we can expect them to create further offense and opportunities.

The midfielder was one of the top players in her team Crossfire Premier 08 when they defeated Sting Dallas Black 08 2-1 on Monday. Very smooth on the ball, she was involved with most of her team’s offensive actions, finding good passes from the middle or making good runs and generating space with her dribbling ability. She’s a very complete player who can pass, dribble and finish at a high level. Koszrous was also very intelligent from a tactical standpoint as she often dropped deeper to generate space for wider players.

Koszorus ability on the ball gave Crossfire excellent power on the offensive end as she used her skills to produce in a variety of ways. Very smooth on the ball, she displayed an interesting skill set, with great ability to dribble, excellent vision to pass and power to finish. She played as somewhat of a false nine at times, dropping deeper to get on the back and feeding the wingers that made runs on the flanks.
