Berger is an incredibly athletic left back with great footwork and excellent technical skills. He can use either foot, allowing him to change direction and then explode. He makes defenders miss as he is very nimble and agile and likes to drive into the box. He can play a ball back on the floor to a trailing runner if he doesn’t go for goal and he’s also good about letting the ball run before he delivers a cross into the box.
