Fauconier does an excellent job of disguising her movements on the back line, making it difficult for attackers to predict her next step. She consistently closes off angles and wins the ball before the opposition can get in behind the defense. Additionally, her well-timed aerial clearances add another layer to her defensive game, as she’s quick to get in front of the ball when it matters most. Furthermore, her ability to shield the ball and play simple passes makes her a reliable anchor for SSA in possession. Overall, Fauconier’s presence as a lockdown defender in the 2029 rankings is a defensive strength worth keeping tabs on.
