About Sarah

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Im a natural holding midfielder and I thrive in the possession style of play as is the National's way. Im patient with the ball and Im always looking up to try to make the best pass at the right time to contribute to the attack and earn the assist. Fearless with winning the ball in the midfield via headers and physical play. Willing to slide tackle to disrupt the offensive attack.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Im the Team Captain on Nationals 2011 ECNL team. I lead by example via my intensity at practice and in games. Im verbal with encouraging my teammates, directing traffic to improve spacing and positioning of the midfielders and Im the first one to race to highfive my teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

National Junior Honor Society. Presidential Academic Award. Top leadership/citizenship award at my school. I belong to my church youth group

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Im currently and have been for the last two years my soccer team’s Captain. I was captain of my school track team, basketball team and volleyball team. Ive been a student liason to new enrollment kids giving tours and introductions.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would love to play a high level of soccer in college. Im open to any and all opportunities at this time.
