About Seren

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is very physical. As a Centre back, my job is simple; get the ball out. Win it if i can, but no matter what im doing I’m playing physical. Bodying, shielding, you name it. I also like to include lots of long balls, through balls, or switches.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is simple; go big or go home. I have always cared so much about how I play, so yes, you may see me defeated at some times, but you will never see me give up. I will push my team to do the best that they can loudly and unashamed on the pitch.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

National Junior Honor Society, Essay rewards from D.A.R.E.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership, motivation, discipline

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Confidence, for sure. I joined a higher ranked team half way through the season last year, and surprisingly, it took a very big toll on me mentally. Everyone had their own “circles” made already, I was kind of just there every day. Not talking, no friends, etc. I was under the impression that everyone cared so much about every mistake that I made, so it hurt my confidence a lot.

What type of college are you looking for?

Close to home, good soccer program
