I wrote about Brooks recently, here, but featured her as this group’s 2029 graduate because she is very deserving.

Brooks continues to prove to be a prodigious scorer despite playing up a year, as she has scored over 30 goals in just over six months with Ventura Surf’s 2010 team. She continues to develop as a forward as she is not just a goal scorer. I see a player getting more and more comfortable with the ball at her feet, showing great composure when pressured and with the ability to navigate tight areas. She has clearly worked on her foot skills as much as her finishing skills and is becoming an incredibly well-rounded forward.
