How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’d describe my gameplay style as highly technical and smart, always fully engaged and quick to read the game. I stay dynamic, communicate constantly with my defense, and use my athleticism and strength to make brave saves. My distribution is precise, allowing me to quickly transition play and keep our team on the front foot.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is focused, fearless, and resilient. I’m fully committed to every moment of the game, driven by a desire to protect my goal at all costs. I stay calm under pressure, and my high standards push me to constantly improve. I thrive on being a leader on the field, guiding and supporting my teammates with clear communication and encouragement.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership skills by being the vocal backbone of the defense, organizing and motivating my teammates with clear communication. My teamwork skills are essential, as I work closely with my defenders to maintain our shape and keep us cohesive under pressure.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A significant challenge I faced was during a season when I led my team to an undefeated regular season and secured a 1-0 shutout win in the national championship round of 16, advancing us to the final round of 8. However, despite my contributions, I didn't play in quarters, semis, and finals. This was incredibly tough experience, but I focused on staying positive and being a supportive teammate.

The quickness and speed that Simone puts on display during a match is fun to watch. She has soft hands and confident holds while in the air or in the dive. Bennett’s twitchy movements allow her to stay in the box for an extra moment to make that highlight reel reaction save. Simone is an athletic keeper that uses her feet well and can play out of the back with the best of them. This High School 1st Team All-League GK plays for one of the top clubs in the state, Crossfire (XF), and is pitted against the top programs in the country during showcase season. She handles the pressure of the goalkeeper position well and is built to play at the next level.

Smooth is what comes to mind when watching Simone play. She has a crispness to her holds and quickness to her ball release. Simone can play big when needed and moves very well throughout the box. Last year’s 2nd Team All-League GK will look to help her team battle for the top spot in the tough and talented North Puget Sound League.

Three shutouts and only one goal against in Seattle give Bennett a strong leg to stand on in claiming to be one of the best for this coming tournament. She will be tested right out of the gate as her XF Academy side takes on Slammers FC HB Koge, a team that put up 13 goals in their previous four matches. Bennett will look to hold her own against this potent attack and see XF through to the semis.
