About Sophia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Compete at the highest levels and win. I have had many many training hours, trainers and coaches instill a mindset of commitment, competitiveness, creativity, working hard, consistency and never give up. I have competed in multiple styles of play and bring all of the different methodologies with me for a unique style of play. Most importantly being coachable and adaptable to what I’m being taught.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Positive, leadership, great communication skills, bring people together, motivator, willing to take on challenges, willing to work with administration for positive impact and change. Help my teammates wherever I can.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Player- Placer United SC Band- St Francis HS 2024-2025

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Student Leadership- Sophomore Class Ministry Volunteer- Fat Kitty City Volunteer- St Vincent De Paul, Fairfield chapter Summer camp counselor- St Francis HS Troubie Jr camp 2025 Alter Server, St Joseph Morello Worked with school administration to Spearheaded High School Fundraiser for victims of shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I was injured multiple times last year with different injuries and wanted to quit. I worked hard to come back both physically and mentally. There was a coach who seen something in me and believed in me. It was a game changer for me when I felt down and felt like giving up. Coach Olman whispered you got this, keep going. With this new found confidence , I’m ready to compete at the highest levels.

What type of college are you looking for?

Somewhere I can continue to develop, learn, grow, and add value with my unique skill sets.
