How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
Fast and Physical. Make space for teammates and eliminate offensive threats. Good at rotations, identifying and avoiding double commits, able to adjust my play to accommodate our strategy of play. I look to create and get solid passes to my teammates.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am mentally tough to deal with the demands of the game. I'm able to remain focused and composed in high-pressure situations, as well as have the resilience to bounce back from setbacks and learn from mistakes.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I play for the Orlando City Soccer School 2009 ECNL-R team. I am team captain and was recently named to the 2023-2024 U15 ECNL All-Regional League Team in Florida. I have received National Junior Honor Society award, Jr. Beta. I volunteer to help challenged children.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I have developed various skills, but most importantly how to foster open and honest communication. Being in leadership has taught me to create collaboratively with my teammates both on and off the field and to celebrate others success. I keep myself accountable and try to find solutions so that I don't make the same mistake twice.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Upon moving from Michigan to Florida, I was challenged to start over in many ways. Friends, reestablish myself with new teams, school and a new state. For an incoming 8th grader (2 years ago), that was difficult and challenged my mental state and confidence, but I was able to overcome and create a new chapter in my life.
What type of college are you looking for?
I'm looking for highly competitive colleges that will challenge me to be better. I want to contribute to the success of the program, understanding that I have to establish myself and earn my position and playing time.
