Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
As a goalkeeper, my game is definied by quick reflexes, strong leadership and exceptional shot-stopping abilities. I thrive in one-on-one situations, staying clam under pressure and making crucial saves when it matters most. My goal is to control the game from the back and inspire confidence in my team with every play.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I believe in working hard and pushing myself and my team to be the best both on the field and off. As a goalkeeper, I have always wanted to the most physically fit on my teams. I think that it's important to excel at the team fitness trainings not just the keeper trainings. I feel like the field players respect me more for being in the trenches with them! My teammates are my best friends.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Outside of soccer I love being a part of 4H and FCA and especially enjoy the camps!
I have a 4.0 and was selected by Jessamine County to be this years (2024) Rogers Explorer for STEM. The Rogers Explorer gave me the opportunity to stay on a college campus and participate in many STEM and community service activities this summer with like minded students. It was an honor to be selected!
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Being part of a team has definitely helped me develop many valuable skills! I have learned how to community effectively on and off the field. As a goalkeeper, I have developed the ability to lead, motivate and support my team. I have learned more about collaboration and working with others for a common goal. I have learned resilience and mental toughness.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I am the youngest on the team. Most of my teammates are 2 grade levels higher than me. I love them all but that has created some challenges especially since my rules are a lot more strict than theirs. Most of them drive already and have alot more freedom. I have learned not be envious and just go home and get rest.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a college that excels in academics and sports. This will ideally be a school where I can pursue a high-level education while also competing in high level soccer. Balancing academics and my passion for the game is top priority. I am seeking a program that supports my growth in both areas.
