Stella’s ability to find opportunities to score with defenders draped all over her is one of her specialties. Jones’s range is impressive. When donning the Eagle Mustang jersey, she’s a 1st Team All-League and 2nd Team All-State athlete and while wearing her club team kit, she has earned the right to compete on the USYS ODP National Team. Jones is one of the more fascinating players on this roster. She is the only player from Idaho on the squad. She’s a versatile player who could play any spot on the field – perhaps beside goalkeeper. She plays with power and strength. Jones is listed as a forward and midfielder, but she is a terrific defender. She’s decisive in the tackle and wins the duel cleanly. On the ball, she is a clever player who can hold off players with ease. Jones relies more on her skill and smarts than her speed. She is going to be a top talent to watch with this group as she gets a platform to compete against some of the best players in the world.
