Guilherme Torres | Prep Soccer Scout
Arreola and her FC Dallas 07/06 team are set to be challenged by Slammers FC HB Koge, Jacksonville FC and Legends FC. A Youth Mexican international, she can be used as a forward, but is typically a right back for her club team, offering a lot of firepower out wide. Arreola is extremely well-versed offensively and can hurt opponents with her and dribbling ability in wider positions, but can also come inside and contribute with her passing. The outside back also does a great job on the defensive side of the game, using her athleticism to keep opponents under constant pressure.

One of the top right backs in Texas, Arreola played at her usual level in College Station, helping her team FC Dallas 07 ECNL get a pair of wins. Because of her ability to read the game and her athleticism, she kept things quiet on her side of the field, winning duels and cutting passing lanes with tremendous efficiency. Arreola also contributed a lot offensively and used her diverse skill set to hurt opponents in different ways. At times, she would play very wide and make great runs on and off the ball, while on other occasions she would come inside and help the midfielders circulate the ball with her passing.

The FC Dallas G07 prospect is among the most versatile ones as, besides playing right back, she can also line up as a center back and even as a forward. It takes a lot of different skills for a player to be able to perform well in all these positions and this is exactly the most exciting thing in Lavender’s game. She has great physical and technical skills and uses them according to what she needs at each moment. Her athleticism helps her put tremendous pressure on opponents when she’s tracking them and playing defense, but it also makes of her a very dangerous player when she pushes forward as she can beat defenders with her pace. Lavender reads the game very well and that also helps her make good decisions on both sides of the ball.

Lavender split her time into two different roles at FC Dallas 07’s backline during the match against SlSG Navy 07 on Sunday. She started as a center back but then moved to the right, a position where she can fully exploit all the positives of her game. Originally a forward, Lavender has good pace and vision and that makes of her a productive player when she pushes forward down the flank. She’s extremely solid defensively too, using her athleticism to put pressure on opponents and her proficiency in 1v1 duels to shut her side of the field down.

Previously a forward, Lavender displayed she has what it takes to play on the backline too with an excellent showing against SLSG Navy 07. She started in the center of her team’s defense and, although not very tall, won most of the balls she competed for with pace and excellent positioning. Lavender is very physical and puts a lot of pressure on opponents, forcing them back or to make errors. She later switched to right back and displayed some quality on the ball when in possession.
