Thatcher is a powerful left sided defender for the ECNL team, Concorde Fire . He can play as both a center back and as a left back. Thatcher is a tenacious defender who thrives in 1v1 situations and is tough in a tackle. He can push his team forward and overlap as a left back, providing an attacking outlet for his team. He has been instrumental in his team’s success. They have won their division the last three years and made it to the ECNL final four in 2024. Thatcher’s playing style will make him a mainstay in a lot of college programs as he can match the physicality of the NCAA.

Simmons is a very well-rounded defender. A left-back, he is comfortable on the ball, keeping it close to his feet, and liking to go up and down the left hand side. He hardly ever forces the play, playing the ball back to the the center-backs or the keeper. Having a good first touch, it sets hims up perfectly to play the pass or even to calm the play a little. He plays with his head up, aware of his surroundings and thinking two steps. Simmons brings calmness and stability when on the field, doing his job and doing it well, often his performances playing a massive part in the goals and wins.
