She plays right center back at the club level. She is an agile player who can feature in a number of roles across the defense as well as defensive midfield. She is comfortable on the ball and quick in the tackle, which suggests the qualities to feature in the midfield as well. Schaeffer has been an excellent addition for Sting Austin – confident on the ball, leader on the field, and plays with a swagger. She’s got big time potential.
