Ok I’m not informing anyone of anything new here, if you’re from this area and follow soccer at all you know who Val is. I feel like I should just be on record acknowledging how great she is, at her age and what she’s achieved already is just fantastic. She’s the kid the current girls just starting club ball are going to be looking up to for the next couple decades. For those who don’t follow, or maybe live under a rock, Val is on the US U16 team, she’s the youngest player in the USL playing for the DC Power, who may also feature the future of GK for the Washington Spirit currently. She also recently got to play with Seattle Reign at the Coachella Valley Invitational, and then was set to complete a 2 week training with the club after. Normally I’d be waiting for June 15th to see who gets lucky enough to land her, but I wonder at this point if she may be the next of the teenage superstars to take up residence in the NWSL. For those of us here in Maryland, we are so proud of her, and can’t wait to see where she ends up next. For the other teams who get to run into her Bethesda SC 2010 team, good luck with that.

Perrotta became the youngest player in the USL Super League and the youngest player to start a game back in May. The Bethesda standout has earned a significant role with DC Power. She is also part of the US Youth National Team program.
Perrotta has a professional mindset. She studies game film, she learns about her opponent, and she has the mentality to always want to be the best on the field. The attacking talent has shined in recent months, which puts her at the top of the national rankings for this class.
Perrotta is one to watch from the 2028 class as she continues to prove herself against better competition at every opportunity.

She already has 3 professional appearances with DC Power in the USL Super League and became the league’s youngest ever player to step on the field. An incredible achievement by Perrotta. The future certainly looks bright for this young star.

Perrotta was with the Bethesda SC team that completed their schedule in Dallas with a tie and two losses. Despite the results, the team was strong offensively, scoring five goals in three matches, and the attacking midfielder was one of the main reasons for it. Playing the No. 10 role in a 2-2 tie with the Real Colorado National, Perrotta was very dynamic in the final third, moving around to get on the ball and displaying great vision to connect with her teammates. She also scored one of the team’s goals in the match with a beautiful shot from distance.
