Has a good understanding of when to play the ball quickly versus holding up the ball and waiting for the right pass. Fuentes is comfortable and effective at playing isolated up top or dropping deep to get involved and on the ball. She works hard for the team off the ball and out of possession, proving herself an extremely valuable attacking player that will contribute heavily regardless of the situation and tactics on the pitch. Earlier this year, Fuentes was called up to represent El Salvador at the U15 level.

Melendez is a center forward on the NVA 09 ECNL team. She was an All-Conference honoree in the U15 age group last season. Melendez is the tip of the attack for NVA. She can play with her back to the goal. She was often on an island during the postseason as she handled the top of the attack against a plethora of defenders. She did remarkably well winning possession of the ball for her side. She likes to get the ball off her feet quickly when she is far away from goal and playing combination passes to get it back into space. She rushed this a few times during the game s in Washington. If she continues to work on the timing of those passes, she will unlock the NVA attack against the top teams in the country. She has the skill and talent to be a game-breaking forward.
