Adams is one of the top center backs in the class of 2026. She plays as the right center back for her club side. She has been excellent in her first season with Hawks. She is very good as a 1v1 defender, more so than most center backs. Adams’ eagerness to take on the challenge of shutting down the opposition’s center forward will be a key point for Hawks winning this group as every team in this group has a star in that role.

Defender. Left center back. Right footed. Comfortable passing with either foot. She is the high profile player on this Eclipse team after the youth national team call-ups. She is easy to spot based on her size. She is solid in aerial duels, but she could be more aggressive in that aspect of her game. She was caught in possession a couple of times when the ball was stuck to her foot. Overall, it is easy to see why the Youth National Team scouts identified her. She has elite traits for the position. She has a knack for blocking shots. Her long strides will go step for step with any forward. When she was caught in possession, it came in the transition. During the build-out, she made excellent decisions with her passing. Increasing her speed of play will put her in the discussion for best defender in this class in the country.

After consecutive losses on the first two days, Eclipse Select SC 08 ended the event on a high with a 4-0 win over GSA 08 and Adams played a big role in helping the team secure their only clean sheet. She was tasked with defending GSA’s pacey forward Christine Ngulefac and did an excellent job of shutting her down. A tall defender, Adams showed she’s very good when defending outside the penalty box too as she uses her length and physicality really well to stop opponents. A lefty, she’s very good on the ball too and does good work in possession.
